Dieffenbachias, also known as leopard lilies, are striking houseplants grown for their large, oval leaves that are splashed or flecked with white, cream, yellow or lime green. They bring a lush look to a room and are good air purifiers. Dieffenbachia do best in bright, indirect light but can tolerate light shade. Keep out of direct sun. Water when the soil starts to become slightly dry at the top. Dieffenbachia thrives in warm temperatures, ideally 18-24C. Avoid draughts and fluctuating temperatures. Mist regularly, or keep on a tray of moist pebbles.
