Description 3M Defib-Pads 2345N 3M Defib-Pads are a replacement for gels or creams. The conductive gel pads are for defibrillation or cardioversion. Bright orange perforated pads sized 9 inches x 4.5 inches. Once torn at the perforated seam the size is 4.5 inches x 4.5 inches. A key component for the 3M pads is their high visibility design, bright orange. The bright 3M Pads make it easy to see, with no clean-up, and less skin trauma. Importantly, the gel pads leave no slippery residue that will interfere with CPR. The defib-pad consist of an electroconductive gel supported by a porous-woven fabric. The pads are easy and fast to handle when applied to the skin. They save time when someone’s life is on the line. Easy to apply in an emergency. The gel pads may be used with metal paddles. These self-contained pads eliminate gel-bridging. Gel bridging can cause irritation, burns, and acute sensitivities. 3M Defib-Pads are for RX use only. The pads are Latex-free, so during emergencies technicians do not have to worry about latex allergies. Defib-Pads may only be used with metal paddles, and are not substitutes for MFE (Multi-Function Electrodes) with any AED. There is no gel to clean off the paddles. Pads have a success rate equivalent to the lowest resistivity gels.
