US Buffalo Nickels were minted by the US Mint from 1913 through 1938. Designed by sculptor, James Earle Fraser, the obverse of the coin features a Native American bust, “LIBERTY” and year (if visible). The reverse of the coin features the American Bison, “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA”, “E PLURIBUS UNUM”, “FIVE CENTS”.Handcrafted push on guitar knobs – each made from an original 1920s-1930s Buffalo Nickels, 1/2oz Incuse Indian 0.999 pure copper round (Golden State Mint), ¾” copper tubing, and epoxied over black knurled push-on style guitar knobs.The nickels used are “no-date” Buffalo Nickels, which are annealed and then pressed multiple times with a 20T hydraulic press into “Fantasy Buffalo Nickel” impression dies (for added details and higher relief) – original hubs carved by master carver, Ron Landis.This is a single knob, and can be ordered with either Indian (Heads) or Buffalo (Tails) side up.Available brightly polished.Push-On style guitar knobs fit most split shaft pots.Delivered in a small canvas bag with Unminted LTD branded card.Even guitars need bling.
