The DetailsALIGNER SET (31.5mm CONE / 44mm DIES) The Aligner Set is designed to make leveling your coins in your folding dies quick and easy, and to help keep your folding cone perpendicular to your folding dies through-out the fold.INSTALLING THE CONE The cone holder is designed to fit a 17 degree steel folding cone with a 31.5mm OD. It’s intended for the cone to be a tight fit, and once installed, to leave the cone installed in the holder – removing it will loosen it over time.To install the cone in the holder, place the holder on a flat surface on your press with the feet facing down. Place your folding cone into the opening with the cone taper facing down, then gently press the cone down into place until it’s seated (being careful to not over-press). You’re now ready to fold some coins!USING THE ALIGNER SET This set is designed to work with folding dies which have a 44mm OD.Start by placing your folding die into the die holder with the desired die side facing up. It should be a nice fit between the two arms of the die holder.Place your punched coin into the folding die, and select the largest leveling cap which works with the coin you’re folding. Align the leveling cap over the die, with the keyed sides aligned to the die holder arms – and give it a few easy taps onto the coin to level the coin in the die, then set the leveling cap aside.Holding onto the base with one hand, place your cone holder over the die, with the larger keyed openings aligned to the arms of the die holder, and lower it, allowing the cone to position down into the punch of the coin until it seats.Place the aligner set on your press, and using the openings to keep an eye on your fold, press to fold your coin, being sure to not over-press to protect your details.A quick way to get an even fold!IMPORTANT – To get a nice even fold using the aligner set, it’s important that your coin’s punch is – centered.
